The art of being yourself is the theme of the year

On 22 August, an offsite seminar of the administrative team of Korifei was held, which can be called a strategy session. The 26 participants spent 6 hours planning the new academic year at the Razdolie country hotel under the guidance of M.V. Kaluzhskaya, Deputy Headmaster of the gymnasium.

Warm-up and familiarisation

The seminar started with a warm-up, after which the participants divided into teams and answered questions about summer, their favourite activities and their superpowers. Two new directors were also introduced: Artyom Mamylin - Gymnasium #210 and Artyom Mushta - Online School.

Mission and shared vision

The theme for 2024-2025 was ‘The Art of Being Yourself.’ Participants worked on formulating the mission using the coaching tool Pyramid of Logical Levels, comparing themselves to a lighthouse, an anthill and a mixed forest where experienced educators and the new generation work together. Artificial intelligence helped to formulate the mission: ‘We are trailblazers paving the way to dreams and new knowledge’.

Planning for the new year

Teams audited the previous year and planned key areas of work such as hybrid learning and the teacher professional development system. After lunch, participants continued their work by planning kick-off events, including a teacher council, parent meetings, and Knowledge Day.
