Koriphey conquers new heights in German language learning

This year, our school reached an important milestone in foreign language teaching: for the first time, the international German language exam Fit in Deutsch, organised by the prestigious Goethe Institut, was held at KORIFEI.

What is Fit in Deutsch?

Goethe-Zertifikat A1: Fit in Deutsch 1 is an exam for children and teenagers from 10 to 16 years old, which allows them to confirm their initial level of German language proficiency (A1) according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (GER).

Successful completion of the exam demonstrates that the pupil can:

Engage in simple dialogue: ask questions, answer questions, express requests
Speak in writing about themselves and others using basic phrases.
Understand simple texts and conversations on familiar topics.
Our achievements

In addition to being the official venue for Fit in Deutsch, Korifei also achieved impressive results:

24 participants from both sites of the gymnasium (Baikalskaya and Shartashskaya) successfully passed the exam
Pupils from grades 4-8 took part in the exam
Mikhail Somin (5-B class) especially distinguished himself, who scored the maximum 60 points.
But our pupils did not stop at A1 level:
Victor Mikhailov confirmed the A2 level
Nikolay Kolmogorov successfully passed the oral part of level B2
Polina Politsinskaya, a graduate of our gymnasium, fully passed the B2 level for admission to a foreign university.
