Feed the birds

The ‘Feed the Birds in Winter’ campaign has been going around the country for many years, benefiting both nature and the children who take care of it. Corypheans did not stay aside and made unique, brightly coloured bird feeders!

Did you know that:

• one feeder can save up to 50 tits from death over the winter.
• one tit saves up to 10 trees from pests per season.
• one small tree provides oxygen for three people.  

Our koryphets know this and try to take care of birds not only at school. The children have hung new feeders in Mayakovsky Park and now they have an opportunity to feed the birds during their walks.

You can join the action and bring treats for birds from home: seeds, nuts, berries, dried fruit and cereals.  Such actions teach children charity, kindness and love for the world around them.
