Happy birthday, Koriphey
The Ural Culture Centre hosted an extravaganza celebrating the 33rd anniversary of Koriphey Gymnasium.
The celebration united tradition and novelty, veterans and young participants on one stage. At the beginning of the event, guests took part in various activities, including masterclasses for making souvenirs and a photo zone for wishes. The performance of VIA ‘Anekdot’ in the foyer of the Centre raised the mood of all present.
And at 15:00 the main programme started in the hall. First on the stage came 11th-graders with a video clip and a cheerful dance, which set the tone of the event. Congratulations were heard from principals A.A. Mamylin and A.A. Babetov, who also presented diplomas to teachers with more than 10 years of work experience in the gymnasium. Special attention was paid to the veterans: they are the tutor E.V. Sibagatullina and the head of the ‘Shartashsky’ site M.V. Alekseeva (25 years of work experience in ‘Korifey’), as well as the physical education teacher M.M. Erpert (30 years!). L.L. Shavkunova, who came to the school in 1993 and laid down the traditions of all Korifei festivals, also took the stage.
The Dedication to Gymnasium was solemnly held, where parents of second-graders congratulated their children with an inspiring song immediately after the exciting ceremony.
The celebration concluded with the premiere of a musical based on ‘The Bremen Musicians’, adapted for the coryphean theme, with the participation of famous characters and a dynamic plot about finding oneself and love.
The event included many colourful performances from all the venues, and the final song was performed by teachers and gymnasium students.
The whole staff of the gymnasium actively participated in preparing and holding the celebration, realising the motto of the day: ‘Have 33 fun celebrating the 33rd anniversary of the gymnasium!’.
