"ZavtraK" at the Young Correspondents' Union gathering.

Our young correspondents Alexandra Butorina, Svetlana Kirmarova and Dmitry Neustroev, as well as the curator Anastasia Podkovyarkina send their greetings from the journalistic training camp “Good Weather” of the Union of Young Correspondents of the Sverdlovsk region.We publish their report on two days of the program.

Day one

The training camp began with a line-up and acquaintance with the organizers. Then there was a training on networking - how to work in a team with strangers.The theme of the shift - traveling. Each squad was assigned a country, and they prepared a common dance for the Opening Ceremony. The counselors also showed their numbers.Everyone could participate in a dance battle, where self-expression and good mood were more important than dancing skills. On the new T-shirts of the participants there was an inscription: “If you are like everyone else, who will be like you?”.

One of the highlights of the day was the soul candle, where everyone shared their emotions and impressions.

Day two

The morning began with a case game. The guys were divided into 10 teams with “Chief Editors” who had to create a concept and a trial issue of the editorial office in 2.5 hours. Passionate about their performances, the young journalists were late for lunch. Afterwards there was free work in the editorial offices. Teachers got to know each other by introducing themselves in 30 seconds, then practiced acting and coming up with titles for articles based on funny pictures.

Team building in the form of a quest awaited the young journalists: each squad passed 7 stations, demonstrating strength and cohesion. The day ended with “Hanging out by interests”. Svetlana, Dima and Anastasia visited Ed's movie club, where they watched the cartoon “Witch's Delivery Service” and discussed it. In parallel, creative master classes and a quiz game were held.

By tradition, the day ended with a candlelight vigil.
