History
In a world where traditional education often fails to keep pace with the pace of society, Koriphey offers an innovative approach that combines a family atmosphere, individualised attention and cutting-edge technology.
From experiment to recognition
The history of Koriphey began in the early 1990s with a small educational experiment. A group of enthusiasts, including researchers Maria Kaluzhskaya and Alexey Babetov, created an alternative preschool programme called Filippok for 15 children.
‘We wanted to create a lively educational environment where children could learn with interest and joy,’ recalls Maria Kaluzhskaya, one of the school's founders.
The success of Filipok led to the creation of Gymnasium No. 210 ‘Koriphey’ in 1994, which quickly gained a reputation as an innovative school.
What results inspire us?
Lifelong learning - the ability to define the boundary between one's knowledge and ignorance, adequate self-assessment and personal development planning.
Autonomy - the ability to act autonomously and co-operate effectively with others, to make efficient use of available resources and tools.
Contribution to society - development of social responsibility and formation of active citizenship.
Our goal is to educate motivated, independent leaders who are ready for the challenges of the modern world and are able to make a positive contribution to society.
Community as a key to success
‘Koriphey" is not just a school, but a whole community. Active parental involvement, regular events and joint projects create a unique atmosphere of co-operation.
Looking to the future
Today, Koriphey continues to develop, introducing new educational technologies and methods. The school strives to become a model of education of the future, where creativity, critical thinking and social skills are valued as highly as academic knowledge.
‘Our goal is not just to prepare children for university, but to educate active, thinking citizens who are ready to change the world for the better,’ concludes Maria Kaluzhskaya.
